For someone who is just about to get started on a health journey, endless options for diets, supplements and fitness exercises can be overwhelming. Which diet will work best? Keto is currently on trend. Some plan their meal around the Paleo Diet. Then there’s the raw food and plant-based movement. Supplements is a science all on its own. Workouts are so varied that 365 days is hardly enough to fully get acquainted and calibrated to a program. Little wonder, many who aspire to lead healthier lifestyles often get stumped and overwhelmed. Some even get frustrated when results are dismal.

Health experts, regardless of their field of expertise or practice, will tell you that the best results are achieved through customized meal plans, exercise programs and bespoke supplements. “Health-conscious consumers are unable to maximize their health and wellness potential because they don’t have access to their own genetic information. One study showed that a genetically tailored weight loss program helped people lose 33% more weight ,” begins the LifeDNA team. Every individual responds to food, exercise and supplements in their own unique way, much in the same way that no two finger prints are identical. “What works for some people may not work well for others.”

This is not to say one particular type of exercise or diet will immediately fail. These programs, however, will work at its optimum when backed up by information about your DNA. In the LifeDNA lab, doctors, geneticists, nutritionists and other highly skilled health experts study and analyze genetics to create blueprints for the health and wellness of clients . “We’ve identified over 100 SNPs that have been shown to impact on your wellness. By analyzing your DNA, we can determine deficiencies and risk for certain illnesses.” DNA results also reveal other health factors that include metabolic rates, energy levels, heart health, capacity for focus, cognition, susceptibility to obesity and even skin health.

This concept may be intimidating. It can also read like rocket science but getting started is surprisingly simple. A DNA testing kit is sent over so clients themselves can take the swab samples and ship them back to LifeDNA. Reports and analyses are then presented in three categories: Nutrition and Fitness, Health and Personality and Supplements for Health Optimization. Those signed on for the 12-month wellness programs have access to regular consultations and follow ups with LifeDNA experts, a personal LifeDNA coach and three supplement blends monthly.

By April OF 2019, the company will be rolling out its meal and fitness plans where recipes and workout routines are designed based on an individual’s genetics. Meals plans highlight nutrition analysis, highly customized recipes, suggested macro and caloric intake and monitoring of progress. Signing on for a fitness plan will give clients access to fitness analysis based on DNA, curated workouts, statistic monitoring and goal tracking with a LifeDNA expert.

LifeDNA CEO Cyril Moukarzel enthuses, “These fitness and meal plans allow people to use the power of their DNA to take their nutrition and fitness to the next level. With LifeDNA, you can get DNA-based products, tailored recommendations and personalized coaching from a genetic health expert all on a single platform.”
